Job summary

Busy Bees Nurseries Ltd. in Oxford is seeking a Senior Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms, drive delivery of the curriculum, and lead a motivated team in a supportive childcare setting.

You will mentor Room Leaders, ensure safeguarding and wellbeing, and build strong relationships with families while upholding Busy Bees’ standards of care and learning.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory or leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure educational strategies and practices are consistent across multiple rooms.
• Lead planning and delivery of activities, adapting the curriculum to meet diverse needs.
• Mentor and develop Room Leaders, promoting collaboration and high performance.
• Oversee wellbeing and safeguarding of children, supporting those with additional needs.
• Foster strong relationships with parents and keep them informed of development.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and safeguarding protocols across the centre.

• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for both children and team members.
