Job summary

Busy Bees Nurseries in the UK is seeking a Senior Nursery Room Leader for the Woking Noahs Ark centre. The role oversees the baby room and leads multiple rooms, inspiring the team to integrate high-quality learning and care across the centre.

You will mentor Room Leaders, ensure safeguarding and wellbeing, and build strong relationships with parents while maintaining top-level health and safety standards. A Level 3 EY qualification or higher is required, with supervisory experience in early

• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure educational strategies and practices are consistent across multiple rooms.
• Lead planning and delivery of activities, adapting the curriculum to meet children's needs.
• Mentor and develop Room Leaders, promoting a collaborative, high-performing team.
• Oversee wellbeing and safeguarding, supporting children with additional needs.
• Foster strong relationships with parents and keep them informed of development.
• Ensure health, safety and safeguarding protocols are followed across the centre.

What to Expect as a Senior Nursery Room Leader:

• Ensure that educational strategies and practices are consistent across multiple rooms.

Ideal Candidate:

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory or leadership experience ideally as a Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for both children and team members.
