Busy Bees Guildford Fitzsimmons Place is seeking a Senior Nursery Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms, ensuring educational strategies are consistently applied across the centre and guiding your team to the highest standards of care and learning.

You will mentor Room Leaders, supervise safeguarding, foster strong relationships with parents, and adapt the Bee Curious curriculum to diverse needs while benefiting from Busy Bees' development programmes and generous holiday entitlements.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in early years education is required.
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory or leadership responsibilities is preferred.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple rooms and ensure consistent educational strategies across the centre.
• Lead planning and delivery of activities, adapting curriculum to diverse needs.
• Mentor and develop Room Leaders; promote a collaborative, high-performing team.
• Oversee safeguarding and wellbeing of children; support colleagues with needs of additional support.
• Build strong relationships with parents and keep them informed of development.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and safeguarding protocols.

Ideal Candidate:

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory or leadership experience ideally as a Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for both children and team members.
