Busy Bees is seeking a Senior Nursery Room Leader at Busy Bees Dudley to oversee multiple rooms and ensure the Bee Curious curriculum is delivered consistently. You will inspire a team of practitioners and drive high standards of care and education.

You will mentor Room Leaders, safeguard children, and maintain strong partnerships with parents while upholding health and safety policies. This full-time role offers development opportunities within the Busy Bees group.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in early years education (EYFS).
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory or leadership duties.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure educational strategies are consistent across multiple rooms.
• Lead planning and delivery of activities, adapting curriculum for diverse needs.
• Mentor and develop Room Leaders to foster a high-performing team.
• Oversee wellbeing and safeguarding of children and adapt support for additional needs.
• Foster strong relationships with parents and keep them informed of development.

Busy Bees Dudley is a purpose-built early-years nursery situated on Manderston Close, Dudley. The nursery provides full-day childcare for children from 6 weeks to 5 years, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-6:00pm, and operates throughout the year apart from bank holidays.

What to Expect as a Senior Nursery Room Leader:

• Ensure that educational strategies and practices are consistent across multiple rooms.
• Lead the planning and delivery of activities, adapting the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of the children.
• Mentor and develop Room Leaders, promoting a collaborative and high-performing team.
• Oversee the wellbeing and safeguarding of children, making necessary adaptations to support children with additional needs.
• Foster strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child's development.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding protocols across the centre.

Ideal Candidate:

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory or leadership experience ideally as a Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for both children and team members.
