Job summary

Busy Bees is seeking a Senior Nursery Room Leader in Bradford to oversee multiple rooms and drive high standards of care and learning. You will mentor Room Leaders, coordinate the Bee Curious curriculum, and ensure safeguarding across the centre.

You will lead educational planning, adapt activities to individual needs, and build strong partnerships with families while working within a supportive team that values development and progression.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that educational strategies and practices are consistent across multiple rooms.
• Lead the planning and delivery of activities, adapting the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of the children.
• Mentor and develop Room Leaders, promoting a collaborative and high-performing team.
• Oversee the wellbeing and safeguarding of children, making necessary adaptations to support children with additional needs.
• Foster strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child's development.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding protocols across the centre.

Role Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

Ideal Candidate:

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory or leadership experience ideally as a Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for both children and team members.
