Dicky Birds Nursery in Claremont Road, Surbiton, part of Grandir UK, is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Third in Charge. You will lead playroom activities, support staff and ensure high standards in early years education, with regular pay reviews and a £30,264 - £35,000 salary.

Qualifications

• Caring approach to early years education and childcare.
• Ability to support and inspire children daily.
• Strong communication with staff and parents.
• Willingness to lead and contribute to management tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment that supports individual needs of all children.
• Maintain systems to monitor, evaluate and improve childcare quality.
• Maintain effective communication with children, staff, parents and carers.
• Support positive working relationships with staff.
• Ensure nursery practices meet EYFS requirements.
• Assist in agreeing and reviewing individual targets with staff.
• Take on playroom and additional management responsibilities when required.
• Keep costs in line with budgets.
