Job summary

Grandir UK Limited is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Third in Charge for Dicky Birds Day Nursery in Surbiton, London. You will lead a team, support playroom staff, and ensure EYFS standards are met to help children thrive daily.

Qualifications

• Experience in early years settings and caring for children.

Responsibilities

• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery.
• Support and supervise playroom staff with day-to-day duties.

• Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers.

What will you be doing

• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
• Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties
• Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms
• Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately
• Ensure that practiceand provision in the nurserymeets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child
• Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
• Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
• Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers
