Job summary

Dicky Birds Nursery in Pepys Road, part of Grandir UK, is seeking a caring Room Leader to join our Outstanding Ofsted-rated nursery. You will lead playroom staff, support children's development and contribute to the warm, family-centered environment.

Salary is up to £33,000 per annum, with regular pay reviews, plus a £2,000 welcome bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including flexible working and enhanced family leave.

Responsibilities

• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
• Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties
• Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms
• Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately
• Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents and carers about their child
• Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
• Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
• Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers
