Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Non-Medical Prescriber in Adult ADHD to work autonomously within the Adult ADHD Service, delivering specialist clinical assessment, intervention, and medication management for adults with ADHD.

The role involves developing personalised care plans, contributing to service development and clinical leadership, and delivering psychoeducation to patients and carers within a multidisciplinary team.

Competenze

Qualified and experienced nurse prescriber.
Experience in ADHD management.
Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.

Mansioni

Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health, social, and physical needs using recognised ADHD assessment tools.
Develop, implement, and regularly review personalised care plans, incorporating both evidence-based and person-centred approaches.
Provide clinical interventions focused on supporting adult clients with ADHD in managing symptoms, setting goals, and improving daily functioning.
Prescribe, titrate and review ADHD medication within scope of practice and supervision concordance.
Contribute to psychoeducational groups for patients and carers, covering essential topics such as understanding ADHD, available treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
Support medical staff in delivering information related to medication as part of psychoeducational programmes.
Conduct dynamic risk assessments, especially for clients with complex comorbidities or those presenting safety concerns.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement risk management plans, providing input on clients' needs and concerns.
Line manage and supervise junior multidisciplinary staff.
