The post involves autonomous clinical practice, supervision of Non‑Medical Prescribers, and driving service development within the ADHD pathway in partnership with the clinical lead

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading complex ADHD assessments including differential diagnosis and risk assessment.
• Ability to mentor, motivate and support staff to achieve results.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills, delivering timely outputs.
• Ability to impart highly complex information to patients, relatives and carers.
• Awareness of national/local ADHD developments and advanced decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional leadership to ADHD Team.
• Set, implement and evaluate standards of nursing practice.
• Independent NMP with demonstrable knowledge and skills.
• Autonomously provide care requiring complex assessment and treatment.
• Provide supervision to the NMPs.
• Offer expert clinical advice to medical and nursing staff on ADHD management and treatment.
• Lead development of ADHD initiatives and strategies with autonomous action.
• Provide direct patient care from diagnosis through treatment.
