Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Nottingham is seeking a Clinical Team Leader (NHS AfC: Band 6) for Pegasus Ward on The Lookout Hopewood Hospital. Pegasus Ward is a 12-bed specialist eating disorder ward for young people aged 12-18, working with families to support recovery.

You will provide visible leadership within a multidisciplinary team, manage staffing and acuity, and coordinate care across shifts on a 24/7 rota, contributing to safeguarding and high‑quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Maintains current registration with the NMC.
• Further specialist knowledge/post registration experience in specific service area or other formal training.
• Demonstration of continued professional development to maintain professional registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible clinical leadership, ensuring safe, therapeutic, recovery‑focused care.
• Act as Senior Nurse on Site (SNOS), holding clinical and operational responsibility during allocated shifts.
• Lead and coordinate the ward/site, ensuring safe staffing, appropriate skill mix, and effective patient flow.
• Liaise with on‑call medical staff, managers, site teams, and external services as required.
