Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a motivated Band 5 Nurse to cover maternity leave on the Welford (ED) Ward, a 15-bed unit caring for patients with anorexia nervosa in the East Midlands. The successful candidate will work alongside Band 5 and Band 6 Nurses, Healthcare Support Workers, the Ward Manager and Team Managers to deliver safe, effective and patient‑centred care.

The role is based at the Bennion Centre, Glenfield Hospital.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with NMC registration.
• Experience in ward-based care desirable.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and provide patient-centred care.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for a group of patients.
• Assist in management and organization of the ward/clinical area.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards of nursing care.
• Educate and supervise junior staff and students on placement.
• Act as a clinical role model and support learners.
