Job summary

Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Band 7 Mental Health Nurse to join its Spring Tide Intensive Treatment Day Service. The post involves leading a multidisciplinary team, delivering care to young people recovering from Anorexia Nervosa and coordinating nursing tasks within a supportive, structured MDT environment.

Qualifications

• Experienced Band 7 Mental Health Nurse.
• Experience delivering care to young people with eating disorders.
• Skilled in assessment, formulation and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead all nursing tasks within the unit.
• Monitor physical health of young people with severe Anorexia Nervosa.
• Provide meal supports and nutritional care.
• Coordinate care for a small caseload.
• Provide one-to-one work with young people.
• Offer supervision and professional support to colleagues.
• Support service development through evaluation and audit.
• Keep up to date with developments in the field.
