Westinghouse Electric Company in the United Kingdom invites an experienced Operations Process Engineer to lead the delivery of Process Engineering across large or multiple projects, ensuring technical excellence and regulatory alignment. You will report to the Project Manager and be based at Westlakes.

Qualificações

• 10+ years' experience in industry, with at least 3 years at Senior Engineer level.
• 5+ years in the nuclear industry or other highly regulated sector.
• Greater than 10 years manufacturing management experience.
• Detailed knowledge of standards, regulations, codes and directives including Pressure Equipment Regulations, COMAH, COSHH, DSEAR.
• Ability to mentor more junior engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Lead improvements at functional and strategic levels using Lean tools to deliver sustainable business changes.
• Strategy development to drive operational excellence; X-matrix, balanced scorecards, KPI’s.
• Ensuring projects and change processes are aligned to business strategic goals.
• Using business KPIs to initiate and drive changes to increase efficiency.
• Drive efficiency improvement, policy and procedure development and strategy tightening and alignment.
• Strategic development of Programs 3-5-year tactical plan ensuring alignment to KDM's and longer-term business strategic aims.
• Management of short-term tactical plan into operational delivery schedules ensuring achievability of KDM's, KPM's and KPI's.
• Forecasting business needs and instruction on works required ensuring feedstock of available work faces.
• Management of MPS's including recovery plans and reporting to all levels of the business.
• Collaborative program wide stakeholder engagement and management.
