Westinghouse Electric Company, at our Springfields site near Preston, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvement and support growth initiatives in a highly regulated nuclear environment. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to develop manufacturing capability, conduct technical studies, and support bid development for growth opportunities.

The role offers exposure to complex manufacturing and nuclear operations, with a focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Experience supporting process, production, manufacturing, or project engineering activities within a regulated industry.
• Understanding of process engineering principles within manufacturing, chemical, mechanical, electrical, control, or nuclear environments.
• Experience gathering, analysing, and interpreting operational and process data to support decision-making.
• Understanding of mass and energy balance principles and their application to manufacturing and production processes.
• Experience contributing to feasibility studies, concept evaluations, optioneering activities, and technical design development.

Responsibilities

• Experience supporting process, production, manufacturing, or project engineering activities within a regulated industry.
• Develop and maintain process maps, flow diagrams, material balances, and technical documentation.
• Contribute to feasibility studies, concept evaluations, optioneering activities, and technical design development.
• Support project delivery activities and working packages within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, safety, and project stakeholders.
