Lockheed Martin Corporation seeks an experienced Senior Programme Manager for New Product Introduction (NPI) at our Ampthill facility. This role leads the development and delivery of future capabilities, embedding a robust NPI framework across engineering, operations, strategy and customer communities.

You will drive cross-functional delivery from concept through to successful introduction, manage risks, and shape governance across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading New Product Introduction (NPI) and product development in regulated, low-volume high-value industries.
• Proven track record delivering new products from concept to deployment.
• Experience establishing or transforming stage-gate governance processes.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to build robust business cases for investment.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior executives, customers and partners.
• Excellent leadership and communication to drive organizational change.
• Balance between strategic thinking and practical delivery.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement a robust New Product Introduction (NPI) process supporting identification, assessment, development and delivery of new products and capabilities.
• Lead transformation of product development governance with best-practice processes and metrics.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Strategy, Engineering, Supply Chain and Customers to identify opportunities and roadmaps.
• Evaluate market opportunities and build compelling business cases for investment.
• Lead cross-functional teams through the NPI lifecycle from concept to service introduction.
• Engage stakeholders and influence senior leadership decisions to align with priorities.
• Identify and mitigate risks and opportunities in new product development and capability introduction.
• Champion innovation, continuous improvement and collaboration across the organisation.
