Raytheon UK seeks an experienced NPI Engineering Manager to bridge R&D and full-scale manufacturing for electronic products. You will lead a cross-functional team across design, manufacturing, quality and supply chain to ensure smooth handovers from concept to production.

The role emphasizes DfX leadership, risk management, and adherence to AS9100/AS9145 standards in a highly regulated environment. Eligible UK residents with baseline security clearance encouraged to apply.

Qualifikationen

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical, Electronic, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record in highly regulated environments such as Aerospace/Defence/Space.
• Knowledge of AS9100/AS9145/J-STD-001 standards and related processes.

Aufgaben

• Direct cross-functional team of manufacturing and process engineers to design and industrialise new electronic products from concept to production handover.
• Lead products through stage-gate processes (AS9145, APQP/PPAP) from bid to production handover.
• Champion DfX (DfM, DfT, DfC) to ensure robust, cost-effective designs.
• Identify and mitigate risks using MRL, FMEA, RCCA.
• Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to ensure component availability.
