Job summary

Seccl is hiring a senior engineer to design, build and operate scalable software using TypeScript and Node.js. You will own services end-to-end, work in a domain-aligned squad, and be the go-to expert for complex technical questions.

Collaboration with product, operations and engineering teams is essential as you drive reliability and performance in regulated investment workflows. You will mentor others, be on-call for services, and help shape architectural decisions while maintaining high

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience in AWS and Serverless products.
• Mentor engineers and lead technical delivery in a build-and-run model.
• Experience in regulated financial services or FinTech is advantageous.
• Willing to be on-call for services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate reliable, scalable software components.
• Own services from design to operation within your domain.
• Ensure SLAs are met and drive iterative improvements.
• Maintain documentation and support operational workflows.
