Seccl Technology Limited is seeking a senior software engineer to design, build and operate reliable services using TypeScript and Node.js. You will work hands-on in a domain-aligned squad and mentor juniors while delivering scalable features for our embedded investment platform.

You'll join a company that embraces ownership, continuous improvement and collaboration, with a hybrid model requiring one day per week in Bath, London or Edinburgh.

Qualifications

• Experience with Node.js and TypeScript in production environments.
• Experience with AWS and Serverless products.
• Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical direction.
• Experience in a build-and-run model and structured on-call processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a domain-aligned cross-functional squad with engineers and product teams.
• Design, implement and operate services within your domain.
• Be accountable for SLAs of your products and iterative improvements.
• Maintain and extend documentation for your services.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
• Provide guidance and mentorship for more junior engineers.
