Job summary

Cyberteam is recruiting a Senior Software Engineer to develop Node.js applications, APIs and microservices for a UK public-sector organisation. You will work with technical leads and product teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions and contribute to engineering standards.

The role involves hybrid work from Westminster or Leeds, with 40% onsite requirements and active SC clearance or eligibility. You will influence technical strategy while delivering high-impact digital services.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with Node.js.
• Experience with Express.js and/or Nest.js.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Experience with microservices and serverless applications.
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of application scalability, security and maintainability.
• Experience with unit and integration testing.
• Experience integrating applications with third-party systems, APIs and webhooks.
• Strong understanding of secure software development and data protection.
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders, product teams and engineers.
• SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain clearance.
