Job summary

Voyage Care in Edlington is seeking a Senior Night Support Worker to enhance the lives of the people we support during night shifts. You'll help with daily living activities, support the manager, allocate shifts, induct new colleagues, and assist with supervision and medication ordering.

You'll work 8pm–8am, on a 35-hour contract, with enhanced evening/weekend pay and overtime premiums. A Level 3 in Health & Social Care and experience with behaviour support plans are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
• Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support including distress and challenging behaviours, mental health conditions, autism, acquired brain injury, forensic histories and trauma.
• Ability to allocate shifts, book training, induct new colleagues and support supervision.

• Supervise day-to-day operations and support the manager.

Shifts: 8pm - 8am, Monday to Sunday

We're on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands‑on Senior Night Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a Senior Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, supporting with supervision’s, ordering medication and ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances. You'll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Seniors are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support.

We're interested in our Senior Night Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Senior Night Support Workers should hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour's of distress and challenging behaviours, mental health conditions, autism, acquired brain injury, forensic histories and people who have experienced trauma.
