Job summary

Barchester Healthcare in Exeter is seeking a Senior Night Care Assistant to lead and support a dedicated team, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care for residents. You will supervise staff and collaborate with the Deputy General Manager to maintain a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment.

You’ll work with the clinical team on areas such as medication, assessments and care planning, with ongoing training to progress your career within our supportive organisation.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care is required.
• Knowledge of clinical care for the elderly is essential.
• Warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to personalised resident care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
• Respect residents' dignity and preferences while delivering care in a warm, welcoming environment.
