Job summary

Athona Ltd is recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to lead a specialist residential nursing service in Ardleigh, Essex. You will oversee quality, governance, budgets and operational performance while driving person-centred care and compliance with CQC standards.

Salary £57,000–£60,000 per annum. This full-time role requires NMC registration (RMN/RGN/RNLD) and prior RM/Home Manager experience in specialist care, with strong leadership and financial management capabilities.

Qualifications

Current NMC registration as RMN/RGN/RNLD.
Experience as Registered Manager or Home Manager within specialist care.
Strong knowledge of CQC requirements, governance and quality standards.
Experience leading service development or organisational change.
Excellent leadership, communication, financial and operational management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the transition to a specialist residential nursing model.
Provide visible leadership promoting dignity, inclusion and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, legislation and organisational policies.
Take responsibility for quality, governance, budgets and operational performance.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred care.
Lead recruitment, development, supervision and retention of high-performing teams.
Build effective relationships with families, commissioners and external stakeholders.
