Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking an experienced Network Manager to lead a six-person network and voice engineering team in a high‑stakes public-sector environment. The role requires staying technically credible while providing direction during complex incidents and projects.

You will manage data and voice engineering, security and cloud-connected infrastructure, and lead teams across Levels 3 and 4, with on-call responsibility and hands-on engagement.

Qualifications

• Senior-level networking background with broader exposure to data and voice networks.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a technical team while remaining technically credible.
• Experience handling incidents and escalations for enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a six-person network and voice engineering team.
• Provide technical direction across data network, voice, security and cloud-connected infrastructure.
• Support and develop engineers across Levels 3 and 4.
• Handle senior escalation for complex infrastructure issues and incidents.
• Maintain operational resilience across critical services.
• Oversee infrastructure upgrades and technical projects.
