Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to join its growing networking and security team. The role blends network security design, implementation, project delivery, and technical ownership, rather than focusing purely on BAU support.

You will work on FortiGate firewalls, SD-WAN/SASE, VPN technologies, SIEM/SOAR and XDR environments, and security audits across complex environments, delivering secure, resilient infrastructure for public sector

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in information security engineering and cyber defence.
• Experience managing and operating security technologies and platforms.
• Strong knowledge of security operations and incident response.
• Experience providing technical direction within a security team.
• Ability to protect systems across complex, business-critical environments.
• Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working across factory and trackside or distributed operational environments.
