Job summary

Vorboss Limited in London is seeking a senior network support professional to own escalated faults through to resolution, perform live changes on customer-facing equipment, and drive permanent fixes for recurring issues.

You will collaborate with field teams and suppliers, write root causes, and contribute to playbooks, while participating in an on-call rota and developing deep expertise across routing, switching, and wireless technologies.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in a 3rd or advanced 2nd line or senior network support role.
• Strong routing and switching fundamentals (TCP/IP, BGP) and fault analysis.
• Hands-on configuration on carrier/enterprise equipment with multiple vendors.
• Able to make changes on live customer-facing equipment with change control.
• Excellent written communication for explaining faults to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Own escalated faults through to resolution with suppliers, field teams, and customers.
• Make and document changes on live network equipment under change control.
• Troubleshoot complex faults across routing, switching, and wireless on Vorboss and customer equipment.
• Troubleshoot wireless faults remotely with field engineers on site and guide survey work.
• Build deep wireless knowledge across platforms to diagnose faults without replacing kit.
• Escalate to the Network Operations Centre when faults sit in the core network; manage impact.
