Job summary

Vorboss is building London’s next-generation business fibre network and seeking a senior network support engineer to own escalated faults end-to-end. You will configure live equipment, perform fault analysis, and drive permanent fixes, while improving monitoring and playbooks across complex routing, switching, and wireless environments.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in a 3rd or advanced 2nd line or senior network support role.
• Strong routing and switching fundamentals, including TCP/IP and BGP.
• Hands‑on configuration experience on carrier/enterprise network equipment.
• Experience owning incidents in a customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Own escalated faults through to resolution with suppliers, field teams, and customers.
• Make and document configuration changes on live network equipment under change control.
• Troubleshoot complex faults across routing, switching, and wireless.
• Escalate into the Network Operations Centre when core network issues occur.
• Write root cause analyses and contribute to playbooks and knowledge base.
