Job summary

IMT Resourcing Solutions partners with a leading London-based connectivity and technology organisation recruiting a 3rd Line Network Engineer to provide senior-level support for critical customer networks. You will own escalated incidents and drive permanent fixes across routing, switching and wireless infrastructure.

As the top technical escalation point, you will document RCA, develop technical playbooks, and mentor 1st/2nd Line teams while collaborating with customers and suppliers to resolve

Qualifications

Senior 3rd line or advanced 2nd line network engineering experience.
Experience with carrier/enterprise networks and live config changes.
Strong understanding of routing, switching, TCP/IP and BGP.
Ability to diagnose complex faults and document RCA clearly.

Responsibilities

Own complex and escalated network faults through to full resolution.
Troubleshoot across routing, switching, wireless and customer network infrastructure.
Make and document configuration changes on live network equipment under change control.
Work with customers, field engineers, suppliers and internal teams to diagnose incidents.
Develop technical playbooks and improve monitoring and alerting.
