Job summary

DVLA is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Operations Engineer (Network & Security Operations) in Swansea. The role focuses on operating, securing and improving enterprise network and security services across on-prem, virtualised and cloud-enabled environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience configuring and supporting enterprise networking technologies.
• Proven incident, problem and change management in 24/7 environments.
• Strong automation and scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Shell).
• Experience with monitoring, SIEM and cloud identity technologies.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot enterprise network and security technologies.
• Diagnose and resolve complex incidents in a live 24/7 environment.
• Support incident, problem and change management activities with engineering teams.
• Develop automation and scripting to improve service resilience and efficiency.
• Coach colleagues and contribute to continuous service improvement.
