Job summary

DWP Digital with Purpose is recruiting a Network Operations Engineer to design, build and operate enterprise-scale network infrastructure across on‑prem and cloud environments. The role emphasizes security controls, incident management and cross‑functional collaboration.

You will support AWS, Azure and on‑prem components, troubleshoot complex issues and help drive automation using Terraform, Ansible and Python. Hybrid working and career development are key benefits.

Qualifications

• Design, build and operate network infrastructure for enterprise-scale environments (on-prem and cloud).
• Apply network security principles including next-generation firewalls, VPNs, encryption and authentication.
• Provide 3rd line support and manage incidents using ITSM practices.
• Own day-to-day network issues, analyze root causes and drive preventative actions across a large estate.
• Communicate effectively with engineers, security and architecture teams to drive improvements.
