Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Senior Networking & Security Specialist to take a technical lead role in designing and delivering complex multi-vendor network and security solutions. The role requires hands-on expertise across routing, switching, network security, data centre networking and SD-WAN, with the ability to produce high-quality designs and lead delivery.

Hybrid in Hampshire with a circa £600 per day contract and SC clearance.

Qualifications

Extensive experience designing multi-vendor network and security solutions.
Strong expertise in routing, switching and data centre networking.
Proven ability to produce high-level and low-level designs and lead delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of complex network and security solutions.
Produce HLDs, LLDs, implementation plans and operational runbooks.
Configure and troubleshoot enterprise and service-provider network infrastructure.
Provide technical leadership and act as a senior escalation point.
Work with customers, architects, project teams and vendors to deliver solutions.
Lead technical discussions and present solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Mentor and support other engineers.
Conduct design validation, testing and technical assessments.
