Job summary

CBSbutler is seeking a Senior Networking & Security Specialist to lead the design, implementation and delivery of complex multi‑vendor network and security solutions in Hampshire. This hands‑on role requires expertise in routing and switching, data centre networking and SD‑WAN, with the ability to produce high‑quality technical designs.

You will mentor engineers, lead technical discussions, and collaborate with customers, architects and vendors to deliver secure, scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Senior hands-on networking and security background with multi-vendor design experience.
• Strong expertise in routing, switching, data centre networking and SD-WAN.
• Ability to produce high-quality HLDs/LLDs and runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of complex network and security solutions.
• Produce HLDs, LLDs, implementation plans and operational runbooks.
• Configure and troubleshoot enterprise and service-provider network infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership and act as a senior escalation point.
• Work with customers, architects, project teams and vendors to deliver solutions.
• Lead technical discussions and present solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor and support other engineers.
• Conduct design validation, testing and technical assessments.
