Job summary

ScottishPower in Glasgow is recruiting a Lead Engineer – Network Innovation to spearhead the development and delivery of innovative solutions across SP Energy Networks Transmission. You will engage stakeholders, shape the innovation strategy and ensure delivery aligns with regulatory and commercial requirements.

The role requires a degree in engineering or equivalent experience, strong project leadership and excellent communication.

Qualifications

Degree holder in engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Experience leading projects or work packages in technical environments.
Strong understanding of electricity transmission or distribution and regulatory landscape.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead development and delivery of innovation across SP Energy Networks Transmission.
Identify opportunities, shape the Transmission Innovation Strategy, and drive adoption of new solutions.
Facilitate workshops, capture and prioritise future innovation needs with stakeholders.
Manage projects/work packages with delivery against technical, commercial and regulatory requirements.
Act as a key point of contact for project stakeholders with technical and financial oversight.
Prepare and contribute to regulatory reports and knowledge-sharing activities.
Promote adoption of innovation outputs into Business-as-Usual practices.
