Job summary

SP Energy Networks in Glasgow is seeking a Lead Engineer – Network Innovation to drive innovation delivery across Transmission. You will manage projects, engage stakeholders, and shape the Transmission Innovation Strategy to support a smarter and more resilient electricity network.

With an engineering degree and a track record in complex technical programmes, you will contribute to RIIO-T3, ensure regulatory compliance, and operate in a hybrid work environment with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Experience leading technical projects in energy networks.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of innovation across SP Energy Networks Transmission.
• Manage projects and work packages with technical, commercial and regulatory alignment.
• Engage stakeholders, identify opportunities, and shape the Innovation Strategy.
• Prepare regulatory reports and drive adoption of outputs into BAU.
