Job summary

TGR Haas F1 Team in Banbury, UK, seeks a Senior Network Engineer to own and evolve the global networking estate across on‑prem, cloud, and trackside. You’ll ensure secure, high‑performance services while driving design, automation, and secure‑by‑design practices.

You will act as design authority, provide 3rd line support, and mentor junior engineers, collaborating with Infrastructure, Cloud, Apps, and Security teams to deliver end‑to‑end network projects in a fast‑paced, race‑oriented

Qualifications

• Degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years IT experience, including 3+ years in networking.
• Strong experience with enterprise networking (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, wireless).
• Expertise in network security, firewalls, VPN, and zero-trust concepts.
• Solid knowledge of core protocols (BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
• Automation (Ansible, Terraform, Python).

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the global network estate across on-prem, cloud, and trackside.
• Ensure secure, scalable, and high-performance network services.
• Lead design, implementation, and lifecycle management of LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and connectivity solutions.
• Embed secure-by-design and zero-trust principles.
• Act as design authority and senior escalation point for networking.
• Provide 3rd line support, lead incident resolution and root cause analysis.
• Define and maintain engineering standards, monitoring, and documentation.
• Drive adoption of automation and infrastructure-as-code.
• Deliver network projects end-to-end, managing scope, risks, and timelines.
• Identify opportunities for optimisation, innovation, and efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement across infrastructure services.
• Work closely with Infrastructure, Cloud, Apps, and Security teams.
• Act as a subject matter expert across the organisation.
• Mentor junior engineers and support team development.
• Manage vendors and partners for performance and support.
