Job summary

Formula 1 is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join the IT department. The role focuses on implementing, maintaining, and supporting robust, secure network infrastructure across on-prem, WAN, Azure and AWS to meet operational goals.

You will lead global event deployments, mentor junior staff, and drive automation and cost-efficiency while ensuring GDPR, SOX and ISO 27001 compliance. Expect travel to race locations and collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven track record implementing and managing IT Network solutions across platforms.
• Extensive experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Arista, F5 technologies and hardware.
• Knowledge of multicast, VXLAN, BGP, OSPF and Ansible.
• Familiar with Cisco Nexus Dashboard, Arista CloudVision and Cisco ISE.
• Compliance awareness with SOX, GDPR and ISO 27001.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and support secure, resilient IT network platforms.
• Configure, upgrade, and optimise network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls and load balancers.
• Lead and support global event deployments and travel to race locations.
• Collaborate with IT teams to deliver effective network services and improvements.
• Maintain documentation and support business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
