Job summary

VodafoneThree is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to deliver LAN, WLAN and WAN solutions for a major Enterprise/Global customer. The role is predominantly based on a customer site in Leiston, with Location Independent Worker options and a flexible 8am-6pm window, including standby remote support.

You will lead network projects, design and implement changes, ensure safety and regulatory documentation, and coordinate with vendors and pre-sales teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience configuring Cisco LAN/WAN/WLAN in enterprise env.
• Hands-on installation of networking equipment in field.
• Able to develop customer relationships and work in a team.
• Full SC security clearance or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and implement network solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Technical lead for delivery of customer network projects.
• Ensure Change Control and mandatory processes are followed.
• Produce RAMs and risk assessments and related documentation.
• Hands-on build activity to stage, commission and install equipment when required.
• Produce customer site and solution network documentation.
• Monitor project progress and report to management.
• Coordinate 3rd party suppliers and stakeholders.
• Support pre-sales activities with technical input.
• Maintain department procedures and customer standards.
