Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a network engineer to design and operate a hyper-scale hybrid cloud backbone. You will build and maintain the production network across multiple cloud providers and lead major improvement initiatives from ideation to implementation.

You will own IP and Optical networks, drive capacity planning, and partner with security teams to ensure scalable, resilient services. This role requires hands-on networking expertise and on-call availability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining large scale data center networks.
• Expert in large-scale IP networking (MP-BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRF, VxLAN/EVPN, QoS).
• Experience with cloud providers AWS, GCP, OCI and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a high‑performance production network at scale.
• Analyze requirements and develop solutions of technical problems based on complex business needs.
• Hold regular project meetings to address challenges and drive milestones.
• Represent the network team as a technical leader and provide direction for projects and problem management.
• Improve reliability and efficiency of network operations and practices.
• Drive capacity planning and create plans for growth.
• Evaluate technologies for scale, security, and maintainability.
• Support development, testing and integration of new hardware/software platforms.
• Participate in 24x7 on‑call rotation.
