Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a network engineer to build and operate a hyper-scale hybrid cloud network across data centers and cloud providers. You will own production backbone networks, support IP and optical technologies, and drive major improvement initiatives throughout ideation to deployment.

You will bring 5+ years of experience with backbone networks, expert knowledge of MP-BGP/OSPF/EVPN, and hands-on experience with cloud providers and IaC tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining large scale backbone and data center networks.
• Expert level knowledge of IP networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN).
• Experience with optical/DWDM, CDN, edge security, and DDoS mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a high-performance production network at scale.
• Lead project meetings and drive milestones across teams.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance for network projects and problem management.
• Improve reliability and efficiency of network operations and practices.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation.
