As investment continues across infrastructure and cyber resilience, they are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join the team and help maintain, secure and evolve their core network services.
This isn't a role for someone looking to sit behind a queue and process tickets. It's a position for an experienced engineer who enjoys diagnosing complex issues, owning technical decisions and working across a broad enterprise networking estate where reliability, security and performance genuinely matter.
You'll join an established team of infrastructure specialists, gain exposure to a wide range of technologies and play a key role in supporting an environment where networking sits at the heart of business operations.
The role offers a hybrid working model, with 2-3 days per week onsite in Oxfordshire. Given the hands‑on nature of the environment and close collaboration with infrastructure and security teams, regular site attendance forms an important part of the role.

Working alongside infrastructure and security specialists, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting complex incidents, supporting project delivery, implementing changes and contributing to the ongoing development of network services. This is an environment where you'll be trusted to operate independently, solve challenging technical problems and provide senior-level engineering expertise across a broad technology stack.
Key areas of responsibility include:

You'll join a highly capable technical team working within a large-scale enterprise environment where networking remains a critical operational function.
This engagement offers a strong mix of technical challenge, project involvement and operational responsibility, making it well suited to experienced contractors who enjoy working across a broad range of technologies rather than being siloed into a single area.
You’ll gain exposure to enterprise-grade technologies, work alongside skilled infrastructure professionals and have the opportunity to make a genuine impact on the stability, security and performance of a complex network estate.
