Job summary

Dynamic Search Solutions is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join a security-cleared team. The role focuses on designing, implementing and supporting enterprise networks and Fortinet security solutions within an MSP environment for government and enterprise clients.

The position requires active SC clearance and Fortinet NSE/FSE certifications, with hands-on experience in FortiGate, FortiManager, and Security Fabric, plus routing, VPNs and hybrid cloud networking.

Qualifications

• Active SC Clearance required.
• Experience in MSP or enterprise environments.
• Fortinet NSE/FSE Level 6 and Level 7 certifications.
• Experience with FortiGate, FortiManager and Fortinet Security Fabric.
• Knowledge of routing, switching and related protocols.
• Experience with VPN technologies.
• Exposure to hybrid cloud networking and wireless tech.
• Experience delivering network installations, migrations and upgrades.
• Public sector/government experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support enterprise network and security solutions.
• Lead technical delivery of network transformation and upgrade projects.
• Deploy, configure and troubleshoot Fortinet security solutions.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex network incidents and problems.

The Opportunity

We're working with a well-established Managed Service Provider based in Reading that is looking to strengthen its network engineering team with the appointment of an experienced Senior Network Engineer.

This is an excellent opportunity for a security-cleared network professional with strong Fortinet expertise to join a growing technical team supporting enterprise and government customers across complex networking and security environments.

The requires two days a week in Farnborough and will suit someone who enjoys working on a mix of project delivery, network design, implementation and high-level technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support enterprise network and security solutions.
• Lead technical delivery of network transformation and upgrade projects.
• Deploy, configure and troubleshoot Fortinet security solutions.

• Work closely with customers to understand technical requirements and deliver effective solutions.
