Job summary

FryerMiles is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for a Defence/National Security programme in Cheltenham. The role involves owning complex network and infrastructure projects from scoping and design through to integration, with close collaboration with clients, engineering teams and suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network/systems engineering, hands-on delivery experience in consultancy or public sector environments, and an active eDV clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of complex network and infrastructure solutions.
• Scope technical requirements and assess solution feasibility.
• Lead requirements, technical design and risk workshops.
• Coordinate engineering teams, vendors and third parties through delivery and integration.
• Manage technical scope, risk, dependencies and assurance.
• Produce engineering artefacts including plans, requirements and test methodologies.
• Provide technical advice and engineering best practice to clients.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and suppliers.
• Report technical progress, risks and issues to senior management.
