Job summary

QinetiQ Limited in Malvern is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, develop and deliver secure networking solutions for critical programmes and projects.

You will provide technical leadership across networking activities, work with project teams and stakeholders to meet user requirements, and contribute through the full project lifecycle.

The role is 37 hours per week at the Malvern site, with a focus on electronic warfare, surveillance, complex system integration and cyber security.

Qualifications

• Strong networking experience in enterprise, defence or secure environments.
• Experience designing, implementing and troubleshooting network infrastructure.
• Knowledge of routing, switching and networking principles.
• Experience working in project delivery environments.
• Ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical leadership across networking projects and programmes
• Supporting design, development and implementation of secure network solutions
• Producing and maintaining network documentation including design and configuration information
• Working with project managers and stakeholders to deliver customer requirements
• Supporting technical reviews, change management and configuration control
• Acting as networking SME and guiding teams
