Job Description

The Senior Network Engineer will play a key role in automating and supporting the company’s cloud-based Carrier Grade network infrastructure.

The Network Engineer will be part of a global team supporting Fortune 100 customers, focusing on automation of cloud infrastructure and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Github.

The company offers excellent training and career progression opportunities, with offices in London and Hampshire, plus a hybrid working option (3 days WFH).

Core responsibilities:

• Support and integrate Carrier Grade Networks for external customers
• Automate infrastructure and deployments with Terraform and Ansible
• Test AWS cloud-based network devices, firewalls, load balancers
• Communicate effectively with team members and external customers

Key requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in a Network role within an engineering environment
• Commercial experience automating cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or similar
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible
• Understanding of YAML and JSON
• Cisco experience and certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are desirable
