Remote role - with occasional travel to York office

Senior Software Engineer’s Core Duties

• Develop information systems, and design, debug, and install software solutions
• Identify operational feasibility through problem definition and solution development
• Work with the Projects and IT teams in the UK and internationally
• Follow software development lifecycle
• Demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, diagrams, flowcharts and clear code
• Protect operations by keeping information confidential

Senior Software Engineer’s Skills Required

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar Software Engineering role
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core, Web API and C#
• Great front-end skills in Angular, Vue or similar
• SQL experience in MSSQL or MySQL
• Experience writing clean and easy to understand code
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving ability
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Experience working in an Agile environment
