Job summary

FINCROFT in London is hiring an experienced Senior Network Engineer for a hybrid role. You will design, implement and support complex enterprise network infrastructure, managing LAN/WAN/WLAN/SD-WAN, routing and switching, and firewall/VPN configurations.

You will provide 3rd line support, monitor performance, and drive security initiatives while coordinating with IT teams and vendors. Cloud connectivity with Azure/AWS/OCI is involved, with opportunities to lead upgrades.

Qualifications

• Enterprise network engineering experience.
• Hands-on routing, switching, firewalls and VPNs.
• Experience supporting highly available enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with cloud and hybrid-cloud networking.
• Strong understanding of network security.
• Experience with ITIL-based incident, problem and change management.
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
• Cisco, Juniper, Azure, AWS, OCI, VMware or relevant networking certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a leading organisation in a permanent position. This is a London-based hybrid role with a salary of up to £80,000 plus a strong benefits package. We are looking for a technically strong Network Engineer with experience across enterprise networking, network security and cloud or hybrid infrastructure, and sector experience is not essential if you have the right technical skills and experience. The position starts as soon as possible.
