Job summary

TyneStack Ltd in Northampton is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Network Engineer to design, build and support secure, scalable cloud networking solutions across Microsoft Azure and multi-cloud environments.

This senior hands-on role covers cloud network architecture, security, performance and reliability. You will work with Cloud, Infrastructure and Security teams, using Infrastructure as Code and automation to improve consistency and scalability of the cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial network engineering experience.
• Experience with Azure VNet, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway and Azure Firewall.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, routing, firewalls and network security.
• Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure automation.
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python or Bash.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of SD-WAN or SASE architectures.
• Experience within regulated environments.

Salary: From £55,000 DOE

Overview

A leading UK organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Cloud Network Engineer to design, build and support secure, scalable cloud networking solutions across Microsoft Azure and multi-cloud environments.

This is a senior hands-on engineering role with responsibility across cloud network architecture, security, performance and reliability. You'll work closely with Cloud, Infrastructure and Security teams while using Infrastructure as Code and automation to improve the consistency and scalability of the wider cloud environment.

The role is particularly suited to an experienced Network Engineer who has moved heavily into Azure and wants ownership of complex cloud networking challenges while still remaining technically hands-on.
