Job summary

Transaction Network Services Communications India Private Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a senior network architect to design, document and deploy services in a global MSP IP/MPLS network. You will focus on SD-WAN, IPSec and MPLS VPN design, with cloud integration and automation at the core.

You will collaborate with pre-sales and product teams, evaluate platforms with vendors, and provide third-level operations support while leading critical maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Experience with architecture and provisioning of MPLS/SD-WAN solutions.
• Hands-on Fortinet FortiGate configuration within SD-WAN topologies.
• Automation and orchestration using DevOps tools (Terraform, Ansible, JSON, Nautobot).
• IPSec design, deployment, operation and troubleshooting (DMVPN).
• Experience designing cloud-based architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• IP Multicast design, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Routing knowledge: BGP, OSPF, ISIS, EIGRP, PIM, BFD.
• NAT, VRRP/HSRP on Customer Edge devices.
• Ability to document and maintain comprehensive designs.
• Strong debugging and vendor‑support interaction skills.
• Broadband deployments experience (xDSL, Cable).
• Ability to plan maintenance windows and provide on‑call support.
• Desirable certifications (NSE, CCIE/CCNP-SP, JNCIE, JNCIP) and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and test new technologies, document results for repeatability.
• Collaborate with Pre-Sales Engineers to meet customer requirements and create scalable solutions.
• Evaluate platforms with vendors for integration into the product suite.
• Provide third-level support to NOC and Implementations teams.
• Develop lab test plans, document procedures, and train operations teams.
• Engage with vendors to resolve issues and perform hands-on testing.
