Job summary

BT Group is seeking a Network Security Professional in Sheffield to provide expert technical support on complex network and cyber security deployments for UK contracts. You will build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and drive meeting expectations and deadlines.

You will act as a cyber and networking security incident decision maker, guiding mitigation and incident response. You will support customers and internal teams, own integration testing, and contribute to secure design

Qualifications

CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification required.
Firewall engineering skills with Fortinet, Cisco ASA/ISE/FirePower, Palo Alto, Checkpoint.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and OSI model; understanding of data networks and network security practices.

Responsibilities

Provide security guidance and remediation to BT and external customers.
Own integration testing on new security products and services.
Act as cyber/security incident decision maker and ensure appropriate mitigation.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to develop and document processes.
