Job summary

Myn seeks a Lead Network Architect to drive Cisco SD-WAN and network transition for a secure public sector customer. This hybrid UK role requires senior architecture leadership, governance engagement and hands-on coordination with cross-government teams. You will present to governance boards and deputise for the Principal Technical Architect as needed.

Active UK SC clearance is essential. The role offers a £600–£650 daily rate inside IR35, 6 or 12 months with view to extend, and exposure to

Qualifications

• Senior level Cisco SD-WAN experience with BGP routing.
• Proven ability to lead complex network architectures.
• Experience with governance and architecture documentation.
• Clear, confident stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture decisions across routing, connectivity, segmentation, security and resilience.
• Define technical strategies, roadmaps and architectures for the programme.
• Oversee design reviews applying Secure by Design and governance.
• Prepare packs for Technical Design Authority and Security Board; deputise when needed.
• Coordinate with cross-government teams and third-party suppliers.
• Mentor and coach other architects; advise senior stakeholders.
